Techssocial | Buying subscribers is no new thing. Almost every YouTuber has at least heard of this term. You can pay money to a company and in return, it’ll give your YouTube channel some subscribers and views. Other companies also offer likes, dislikes, and comments on YouTube videos.
Granted, some companies are better than others. It all depends on how they generate the services they are offering. Cheap companies will usually provide you with “bots” that will click on links to your videos and subscribe to your channel without watching your content or interacting with it. Other, more expensive companies will let you buy real YouTube views and subscribers. These companies will redirect actual human beings to watch your videos and subscribe to the channel and are therefore of higher quality and performances.
However, whether you’re using cheaper companies or high-end alternatives, buying promotional services for YouTube isn’t without any risks. In this article, we’ll present the most common of these risks to help you make a smart, well-thought-out decision before making a purchase.

It is an addiction
If you’re on social media, you probably know – everybody loves seeing high numbers on their following/friends lists, comments, and likes on their posts. Creators on YouTube (or on any other social media platform) are always working towards a massive view count on their content.
If they find that their videos aren’t getting enough views as they initially expected them to, they will turn their efforts towards buying views. Buying high-quality, organic views boosts the video’s performance on the platform. As a result, this helps your videos rank higher on YouTube’s SERP (Search Engine Results Page).
That said, some people take it too far, and it becomes a massive addiction for them. These people start craving subscribers and views more than anything else. Their addiction becomes so strong that they have to stoop to the level of buying subscribers daily and eventually spend more money on purchasing subscribers than what they’re earning.
You might end up getting scammed

Check Email Address: Checking the company’s email address and their phone number is an absolute necessity. Scam companies usually have email addresses linked to Gmail or Yahoo. They will also have minimal means of contact, and reaching out to them will be virtually impossible.
It’s too good to be true: You went online and found a website that promises you a free trial. All you have to do is give out your credit card information. In other cases, the prices are so low; it’ll be ridiculous not to place an order. Otherwise, the delivery timeframe is amazing: 100K subscribers in just a couple of hours! If a company is offering you too good of a deal, at a rate that is way cheaper than what the market offers and with instant delivery, it is probably a scam.
Their website’s design: Most scammers don’t have the luxury to spend hundreds of dollars on building an excellent website. They’ll create a basic website, usually with a lot of grammatical errors and sentences that make no sense and immediately start phishing people. If a site designed poorly, there is a very high probability that it is a sham.
If caught, your view counter will stop
If you’re caught buying fake subscribers or YouTube views, YouTube will penalize you for breaking the rules. YouTube’s way of punishing people who do this is by freezing their video’s counter at 301, temporarily suspending them or permanently banning them from the platform. Even if your views exceed a million, the video counter will always show 301. You will not get paid anything for this video too, and your AdSense might be disabled.
The best way to avoid this is to buy high-quality views. High-quality views are generated by actual people that watch your videos and subscribe to them after all.
There are a lot more risks involved in buying fake YouTube subscribers. If you’re still willing to take the chance, we will not stop you. It is totally up to you.
